My great grandmother was Eveline Campbell from Minnesota. I have traced her lineage back to Andrew Campbell, born 1717-18, Galston, Ayrshire, Scotland. He emigrated to America (New York State) in the 1730`s with his brother(s). I`ve hit a brick wall and haven`t been able to go back any further. I NEED HELP !!!!

Just starting to trace the Campbell`s. Suppose to be a Duncan Campbell with a son, Robert, born at sea about 1759 and the family ended up in Canada after the War of 1812 as Loyalist. Seven sons and four daughters, and Robert`s wife was Mary Smith. Can not go back any further and would love to hear if anyone knows this family.

Hi Patti Berry here from Upstate, South carolina. My great great Grandfather Col. William Campbell figured big in S.C. Civil war history as a signer of the deed of Succession of S.C. right before the war. he was also a lawyer, judge and Episcopal priest at St.Phillip*s church in Charleston, S.C. He was later sent after the Civil war up to Greenville,S.C. where I livee and is buried with his wife caroline in a churchyard 8 miles from me. My Grandfather Col. William Campbell Lucas sr. told me G8pa campbell*s grandfather in Scotland was the Earl of canberra.he spoke alot about our Campbell ancestors!Just wanted to say hello and exchange clan info. with anyone, especially in the South east. U.S. or even Scotland! Peace,Patti Berry***Please excuse poor spelling and typing!

Thank you for a very informational web site. I may be making the bigest family tree ever. I am trying to trace all the Campbell`s in one tree. I have infomation up to the 1900`s now. Most of the Campbells in America are from Virginia to farm.
