I get shivers up my back whenever I find another website about Campbells and this one was no exception. I am the grand-daughter of a Canadian Campbell whose ancestors hailed from Auchindrain Scotland by way of Herkimer County, NY and then settled in Kent County, Ontario. If any of this sounds familar to someone please email me. Thanks Judi

I was born and raised in the Appalachian mountains of Northeast Tennessee, located close to Grandfather Mountain, NC, where Highland Games are held every year. I have met a few Campbell clansmen, but none that I can link with my known family history. My family first settled in East Tennessee in the early 1800`s. My great-great-great grandfather, John Campbell is the earliest descendant that I have knowledge of. This is all that I know about him, making it rather difficult to trace a family history. I`m sure there were thousands of John Campbell`s who immigrated to America during that time period, but if anyone has any relatives in the Appalachian area I would like to hear from you. Maybe we could piece together a history. I am listed in the national Campbell directory. I will be more than happy to respond to any and all contacts. Thank you. Sincerely, Landon Campbell

What a marvelous day!! I am so grateful for the warmnth and Kindness I was shown there. It is such a wonderful feeling to know that I belong........I am indeed proud to be a Campbell amd very proud to have had the honor of the Office Of Convenor bestowed upon me by our gracious President,David R.
