Hello Kinsmen and kinswomen wherever in the world you may be. My roots go back to the fifteenth century in Craignish, Argyll (three of my ancestors are buried in the ancient graveyard there.) Are there any publishers out there who are `really` interested in the original Sons of Diarmid; those Campbells who fought in many battles for the Bruce and at the famous victory at Bannockburn? I have written a novel about those those early kinsmen...their background, families, clan battles and allegiances. There are over 120,000 words highlighting the actions immediately following the Braveheart saga...this time the Scots were victorious! PLease contact me if you are interested (before I seek a U.K. agent or publisher.) I use the pen name Rennie Calder. Hoping to hear from someone.-Cruachan!

Greetings from Buckie, Banffshire, SCOTLAND. I was given your website address from my cousin, George Campbell, 72nd chief and after a visit would congratulate you on running an excellent site. Although not of Campbell extraction, I wish you good luck with all your enterprises and welcome any of your visitors to our newly opened site www.buckiethistle.com for some views of Buckie sporting achievement. Bill Lobban, President, Buckie Thistle Football Club.

My grandmother was Martha Mary Campbell. She was born in Brooklyn, NY in the early 1900s. She died 9/28/48 in a cab on the way to visit her brother in a hospital up the Bronx. She married Harold Miller and lived her married life in Union City, NJ. Her Father was James Campbell, born in Ireland and her mother was Mary Ellen Campbell, died 5/1/44 in Ridgewood NJ. Martha had sisters named Lorreta, Irene, Helen and Veronica. She also had brothers named Joseph and William (Willy). They moved to Greenwich Village shortly after the father, James Campbell, died. This is all the information I have and I`m looking for someone out there who can piece this all together. Thanks and this sites all right. Any information that can be shared would be appreciated.

I just want to say hello to all the members of the Clan Campbell over there in the States. I am a direct line desendant of the Burns Sept of the Clan Campbell from Scotland and think its great to be able to contact other members of the Clan, however far away you might be. The more members of our Clan that trace their roots back here to Scotland, the better our growing family will be. Takke care and -Ne obliviscaris!
