I came back to visit this wonderful website again. I would love to play the Scottish music offered, but I cannot get my music software to play it. I.E. no sound. My music software is part of Windows XP, and that may be the problem. I cannot adjust any compatability feature. If someone knows the answer, I would love to know how to get the sound with my Windows XP software, if that may be possible. I am not a computer guru either, so that adds to the problem. Great website, and enjoyed it again as I will in the future!

I am an African who is a descendant of James Campbell of British Guiana, (after May 26, 1966 Guyana). I am hereby simply asking of you to point me to Campbell family historians who are likely to explain the exact details of which Campbell found my Campbell heritage as it relates to Guyana, Barbados, and Grenada.

I was born in Hunts Point Hospital in the Bronx, and grew up in Manhattan. For the past 19 years I've been living on eastern Long Island. My ancestors were from Oban, Scotland and part of Clan Campbell of Argyll. My long time live-in girlfriend acquired a fascination with Scottish history and now wants to learn the Scottish Gaelic. She stumbled across this site in her research of Oban. I'm glad she found it.

I am trying to trace George Campbell, from County Louth Ireland, he played Gaelic football, in NY with Louth Gaels in 1930, his brother John lived in Wilson NY died in 1942, I believe George moved to NJ. He emigrated in 1914 returned in 1919 and went back to NY in april 1920, I believe he married an english lady in 1922 in NY. I would be grateful for any information about George.

Just happened upon this site. Does anyone know exactly where Black Braes, Scotland is? My lineage goes back to Ayrshire.

I love my last name, enought to take it back after my Divorce! I am just in the begining stage of searching my name. I am from Michigan. I have found many special "Campbell" Clan gifts that I am giving this Christmas. Wish my Dad was still here, he would have loved the Tarten tie! Thank you, I enjoyed the site!
