Greetings Campbells! I am planning a trip with my dad (James Franklin Campbell) for '07. He was diagnosed with Huntington's 8 yrs ago and after yrs of adjusting to life with this disease, he's ready to travel again!! We've never been to Scotland and would love to hear from Campbells about some great trip ideas. Please email me if you wish to share: cec252@nyu.edu (can't do rigorous hiking, but some light foot path - max 20 min walk, is great)

I am just learning about my Scottish side, my grandmother is a Ure and the family came from Glasgow. I just figured out we are of the Clan Cambbell. My daughters are looking forward to the Long Island Scottish games in August.

I am not sure if I have posted a message on this site before but, if I have not, may I pass on my congratulations. It is very good. My ancestry derives from Kilfinan parish, Cowal, Argyll, Scotland, and I am a member of the CCSNA. I have also had my DNA tested. I would recommend this test to you all. I am from New Zealand.

I have looked at some of your comments and I understand how proud you are of your name. I am native to the bonny isle and live now in Ardrossan, Ayrshire. If anyone is looking for any information on our clan or pictures of clan site, please e-mail

I'm proud and honored to be a Campbell. The history of my ancestors came from Scotland and settled in Canada. There is a Cemetery in Canada with all Campbells. They date back to the late 1700's-1800's (NE OBLIVISCARIS). I hope to work for a Company in the future owned and operated by Scottish personnel. Always Remember; BAILE INNERAORA! (The Campbells Are Coming!)

I have an old photo of my grandfathers of a J. E. Cattell first name Jim or James. It was taken in 1960 in NYC while on a visit to the city. back of the photo says, "take by J. H. Cattell." I will be visiting NYC between Mar 26th and Apr 1st of 2006. I was wondering if any of your records show this long lost cousin or his family. I could email you the pic of you need it. Thank you for your time Kenton Cattell
