My 3rd great grandparents were Joseph and Elizabeth(Dunn)Campbell on my mother's side of the family. Joseph was born in ireland of Scottish descent. They were married on Dec. 29 1820 Glasgow Scotland. They parted on the Commerce ship from Greenock Scotland in 1821 and came to settle in Lanark County Ontario Canada for over 20 years and then finally settled in Usborne Tp. Huron County Ontario. There is speculation that my Campbell family originally came from Campbeltown, Scotland?
